SYDNEY will aim to complete back-to-back NSW over-70 state cricket title successes when they head to Port Macquarie on March 1-4. The boys from the harbour city beat Tamworth in last year’s final. They are expected to be challenged by Lismore who will field a team for the first time at an event which has grown in its first three years. Ten teams will vie for the title – an increase on four which played at the first tournament in Orange in 2019. Matches will be played at Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Camden Haven and Kempsey with teams from all over NSW to converge on the region on February 28.
